Hydrology, Water Resources Management, Geohydrology, agricultural hydraulic engineering and tropical water resources management
Both basic and applied research is carried out. Interdisciplinary approaches are very often required. The focus of the work is on the mathematical modeling of hydrological processes and water management strategies. In addition, experimental work is carried out, especially in the areas of precipitation measurement, soil and groundwater research.
